2021 Lincoln County Fair Approaching

The 2021 Lincoln Fair is fast approaching, are you ready for it? This year, this Lincoln County Fair will be from Sept. 18 - 25, with each night being packed full of fun events.
On Friday, Sept. 17, there will be a Family Fun Night and the 20th Annual Barbecue Cook-Off Youth & Adult Set Up. The cook off will begin at 12 pm. There will be free admission, free parking, and free kids activities, such as pedal tractor races and a corn hole tourney, from 6 - 8 p.m. in front of the Grandstands. There will also be a corn hole tournament for adults with a $30 entry fee per team.
On Saturday, Sept. 18, there will are several events planned. At 11 a.m., entries from the 20th Annual Barbecue Cook-Off will be judged. At 4 p.m, the Jr Meat Goat Show will begin. At 7 p.m. at the Jack Daniel’s stage Eric Michael Taylor and the Broken Strings will be opening up for Jimmie Allen, winner of ACM New Male Artist of the Year in 2021, who will begin playing at 8 p.m.. There will also be armbands from 1 p.m. to close. The general gate admission on Sept.18 is $22 per person regardless of age. This will include admission to the fair, the Jimmie Allen concert, and the armband for rides. Season tickets and day passes will not be valid on this day.
On Sunday, Sept. 19, there will be a dairy goat show for 4-H and FFA Open at 9 a.m. The Tennessee miniature horse volunteers fun show will be held at the Cattle Barn Arena. Registration will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the event will be held at 2 p.m.. The miniature horse presentation will be held before the quarter horse races and the miniature horse sulky races will be held during the quarter horse races. Registration for the stick horse races will begin at 1 p.m. outside the Fair Store, and the event will be held at 1:30 p.m.. The quarter horse races, pony races, and mule races will begin at 1:30 p.m., and will be followed by the mule and draft horse show. There will also be armbands on Sept 19. Armbands will be offered for $20 which will cover rides from 1 - 5:30 p.m. or for $25 from 1 p.m. till close. General gate admission will be $8 all day. Children 5 and under will receive free admission along with active military, veterans, first responders, and law enforcement who provide an ID.
On Monday, Sept. 20, the black angus showmanship class and shows and market hog and swine show will be at 5 p.m.. The “Junior Miss Pageant” for ages 11-13 years old will be held at 7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. The “Miss Teen Pageant” for ages 14-16 years old will immediately follow the “Junior Miss Pageant,” and the “Fairest of the Fair Pageant” for ages 17-20 years old will immediately follow the “Miss Teen Pageant.” The non-sanctioned truck and tractor pull will be held at the grandstands at 7 p.m.. There will also be all you can ride armbands for $15 from 5 p.m. until close. General gate admission will be $8 all day, those 5 and under will get in for free. Students and school staff can also get in for free all day, but they must have ID.
On Tuesday, Sept. 21, the antique tractor exhibit and harness races will begin at 2 p.m.. The 4-H poultry exhibit will be from 4 p.m. until close. The commercial heifer, hereford and polled hereford showmanship class and show will begin at 5 p.m.. The youth rabbit show will be held at 7 p.m. in the Sheep Barn. The “Tiny Miss Pageant” for ages 2-4 will be held at 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. The “Little Miss Pageant” for ages 5-7 will be immediately after the “Tiny Miss Pageant,” and the “Young Miss Pageant” for ages 8-10 will be held immediately after the “Little Miss Pageant.” The harness races will begin at 7 p.m. in front of the grandstands. On Sept. 21, it will also be “Senior Day” and the “Century Farms Recognition Day.” The general gate admission is $8 for ages 6-61, $2 for ages 62 and older, and free for ages 5 and under.
On Wednesday, Sept. 22, the harness races begin at 2 p.m.. The poultry show will begin at 4:30 p.m., and after awards and presentation the poultry sale will being at 5 p.m.. The power wheels derby will be held at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the stock demolition derby at 7 p.m. in front of the grandstands. At 7:30 p.m. live pro wrestling will be held at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. General gate admission will be $8 all day.
On Thursday, Sept. 23, the harness races begin at 2 p.m.. The simmental, simmental %, shorthorn, shorthorn plus, and other breeds will have their showmanship class and show at 5 p.m.. There will be karaoke at 7 p.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. There will also be the rodeo at 8 p.m.. There will be a utility trailer giveaway at 9 p.m. and is sponsored by Wholesale Trailer Sales and Rental. You must be present on Sept. 23 to win the giveaway. Armbands will be offered for $20 or $15 with a Lincoln County Fair coupon from 5 p.m. until closing. General gate admission will be $10 all day, and those ages 5 and under will get in for free.
On Friday, Sept. 24, the harness races will begin at 2 p.m.. The dairy cattle showmanship class and show will be held at 5 p.m.. There will be a sanctioned truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m., followed by karaoke at 7:30 p.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage. There will be a 2021 John Deere X530M giveaway. The drawing for the giveaway will be held during the sanctioned truck and tractor pull, and you must be present to win. General gate admission will be $12 all day, and those ages 5 and under will get in for free.
On Saturday, Sept. 25th, the 4-H sheep fun class will be held at 10 a.m. at the Fayetteville Lumber Stage, followed by the 4-H wool on parade at 10:30 a.m., the 4-H clover collection at 11:45 a.m., and 4-H with fashion at 12:30 p.m.. The harness races and the sheep show will be held at 1 p.m.. The mule and draft horse show will begin at 5 p.m. at the Cattle Barn Arena. The power wheels derby will be held at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the demolition derby and the open mic night at 7 p.m. There will be a “Your Choice” giveaway. The drawing will be held at 8 p.m. during the demolition derby, you must be present to win. Winners will be given a choice of a Quickie Mini Golf Cart or a Raptor XDX Mower. There will also be 2021 Toyota Camry giveaway. The drawing will take place at 9 p.m. during the demolition derby, you must be present to win. Armbands will be offered for $20 for 1-5:30 p.m. or $30 for 1 p.m. until close. General gate admission will be $12 all day, and those ages 5 and under will get in for free.
The 2021 Lincoln County Fair will also have shuttle service that will be operating every day for families with small children, seniors, and those who are in handicap or wheelchairs. Passengers will be picked up and dropped off at specific locations around the fairgrounds. This will hopefully make it easier for everyone to enjoy the fair without the hassle of getting from one location to another. There are also season passes offered for the 2021 Lincoln County Fair for $60, though this does not include parking fees which are $5 everyday.
